Well I thought I had better update, I never was any good at keeping a diary! Neo our chinchilla is much better. She is teasing the dog and chasing the cats without any worries about the £500 vet bill. Also we were worried about our dog Kira as she seemed a bit under the weather, but she has had a clean bill of health too and as she is nearly 8 yrs old we have finally got her insured as well. Better safe than sorry.
Things are a bit up and down on the emotional front, but that's life folks. On the plus side I haven't been as laid up with my back now the warmer weather is here. So what you gain on the swings you lose on the roundabouts. Hubby and I had acupuncture a couple of weeks ago it was wonderful pain free for four days. Unfortunately back to normal now but it's nice to know that we can get a break in and out even if it is expensive.
We have booked our annual holiday at Download rock festival. I find it strange that I suffer from an extreme crowd phobia, but this is the only place I go where I can deal with it. Maybe it's because rock fans are less judgemental and can see past the fat old cripple. The line up is the best for a while, the three headliners are My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park and Iron Maiden. Anyway must go to the garden, I was going to take some photos but the wind has really come up an snapped most of my new clematis almost too the ground, so it a damage limitation thing I'll see if I can move it somewere more sheltered.
